Essential Therapy by Charlie is based in the beautiful Odyssey Clinic, in Cubbington, on the outskirts of the busy Leamington town centre.
Led by Charlie Grant MFHT, a fully qualified and insured Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist, and member of the Federation of Holistic Therapies (FHT).
The practice offers a comprehensive suite of remedial massage treatments. These therapies integrate effective restorative techniques with a calming approach to facilitate both physical recovery and emotional release to individuals navigating the stresses of everyday life.
Available massage techniques include Deep Tissue Massage, Swedish Massage and Sports/Remedial Massage, which can incorporate specialised methods such as Muscle Energy Techniques, Soft Tissue Release, Trigger Point Therapy, and Myofascial Release.
Essential Therapy exists to offer relief, renewal, and support for everyday people under real pressure.

Founder
Charlie Grant is an FHT‑accredited Sports and Remedial massage therapist and the founder of Essential Therapy by Charlie.
She supports individuals who are carrying the physical strain of everyday life, offering treatments that combine effective therapeutic techniques with a calm, restorative approach. Her work helps clients ease tension, improve mobility, and find a sense of balance in both body and mind.
Charlie’s path into Wellbeing began long before she trained in massage therapy. After navigating her own challenges with intense physical and mental stress, imbalance, and the need for deeper self‑connection, she retrained in the practices that helped her heal. This personal journey led to the creation of her first business, sMilEs Granted Wellbeing, where she offers Life coaching, Sound Bath Meditation, Reiki 2, and Mental Health and Meditation facilitation.
The name sMilEs Granted reflects a belief that became central to her work: a smile is most powerful when it really feels like it's meant....the “ME” in it—signifies authentic, grounded, and genuinely granted.
As Charlie’s work evolved, she felt called to support the physical body as deeply as the mind and soul. This inspired the development of Essential Therapy by Charlie.

Founder
In her spare time, Charlie is now able to help others like her elderly parents.
Charlie can be seen strutting her stuff as well as singing and dancing at the Royal Spa Centre in Leamington as part in an annual Charity Bodies & Co Fashion show, raising thousands each year for charities, whilst helping put local fashion retailers on the map.
Charlie also loves long walks in the countryside, enjoys travel abroad and is learning Italian!
